I have no issues when installing Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express Service Pack 3 (http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/details.aspx?familyid=5D76230D-580D-4874-8C7D-93491A29DB15&displaylang=en), which is officially supported by Microsoft when installed on Windows Server 2008.

Installation error with Microsoft .NET in Windows Update and manual update.?
I uninstalled the Microsoft .Net programs on my computer (Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, 32-bit) because I saw multiple installations (3.5 and 2.0), and I thought it would be a good idea to get rid of both and just reinstall the latest version, 3.5.
