Develop for Skype for Business Online
For the first time ever, we are enabling third party apps to natively integrate with Skype for Business Online and connect to our cloud services. New updates include:
Embed Conversations with SDKs for Web and AppThe new Skype for Business App SDKs enable developers to embed conversations and communication capabilities into enterprise solutions and Office 365 apps so customers can connect with businesses anytime, anywhere and on any device. New updates include:
Additionally, in yesterday’s keynote we introduced Skype Bots – a new way to bring expertise, products, services and entertainment into your daily messaging on Skype. Today, Skype bots can come to life through messaging, and in the future audio and video calling will be enabled. For more details on what we released in preview and how developers can get started, go to skype.com/developer.
To support our developers and partners we are investing in a variety of new community-oriented developer resources. This includes refreshed developer portals and landing pages (links below), shared github repository, interactive web SDK samples and a new channel and tag for Q&A on stackoverflow.
With all this innovation enabled through the Skype Developer platform, our partners are critical to bringing these solutions to life, and there is a significant opportunity for partners to create high-value experiences as ISVs or to deliver managed services offerings on top of ISV solutions.
Whether you are a Developer/ISV or looking to partner with one, check out the resources below for more detail on what’s being announced at Build and other resources related to the Skype Developer Platform.
