Recently Microsoft have released the Teams Outlook Add-in which allows you to schedule Teams Meetings right from within Outlook much like you have been doing with Skype Meetings.
I’ve found that sometimes the add-in doesn’t always show up in outlook. Please first ensure that you have Outlook open in mailbox that is connected to an Office 365 Account that has Teams enabled and that you have updated Teams to the latest version. If the add-in still doesn’t show up check the following location:
%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\meeting-addin
I have found that uninstalling Teams and then deleting the contents in this folder clears up the issue. You should restart Outlook after installing teams.
I am having the problem where teams is not showing up in add-ons list either in Outlook. I checked the above location %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\ and do not see a folder "meeting-addin" I have uninstalled and reinstalled Teams multiple times to no avail. Any ideas?
